Megan studied Hospitality and Catering at Canterbury College, then embarked on a dazzling pastry career that included Oblix at The Shard, two years on the opening team of Dominique Ansel Bakery, the Shangri-La and The Kimpton Fitzroy Hotels. More recently she has worked alongside Lily as head baker at Lily Vanilli, combining her impeccable pastry skills and 10 years of experience with her endless creative flair to create the most beautiful cakes and pastries. She is a queen of piping!

Self-taught, Lily has been described as one of Britain’s best-loved artisan bakers and the Queen of Cakes. Since 2008 she has built an industry-leading brand with a pioneering approach to baking and running a food business.
She is the author of three best selling recipe books, co-founder of the industry-leading YBF Awards (now in its 10th year) and founder of the viral fundraising campaign #BakeForSyria.
She recently opened a second store in Tbilisi, Georgia and in 2018 launched an afternoon tea concept in Nanjing, China.
Laura caught the baking bug while pursuing a successful career in finance and marketing. Having set up her own flourishing cake business in Hampstead she made the move to turn professional, graduating with a distinction from Le Cordon Bleu. She went on to work at the Connaught Hotel and Harrods, mastering the art of fine patisserie before going on to star in Bake Off The Professionals 2020, as part of a 2 person Hurlingham Club team, where she reached the semi-final (and was fan favourite!). She joined Lily Vanilli in 2021 where she has perfected her piping skills and continues to thrive.
