This week, I was invited to a book launch by the lovely Michael Zee of Symmetry Breakfast. I made a cake to celebrate his new book Cook Love Share. If you don’t know Michael, he is the mastermind behind some of the most aesthetically pleasing food photos on Instagram.
Cook Love Share is a book full of Michael’s favourite recipes, such as South Indian idli and Sicilian gelato con brioche. Not to mention those famous pictures. You can get your hands on one here.
For the launch, I made a three tiered rainbow layer cake, decorated with gold cherries and brightly coloured fresh flowers and petals.
