The single most addictive thing we make. Every time I bake a batch for the shop I have to make almost double the amount we need to allow for snacking.
It’s super crisp and light so it doesn’t get stuck in your teeth the way caramel can, and it makes a lovely topping for a cake too if you want to use it as decoration.
