Wedding photographer Natasha Hurley asked me to create a bespoke wedding cake for a photoshoot on the Cutty Sark.
The legendary 19th-century clipper is now based in Greenwhich and provides a striking backdrop for the shoot. I had total freedom in the design of the cake and I think the photos are gorgeous.
Inspired by J. M. W. Turner‘s brooding oil paintings and Daphne du Maurier‘s dramatic novel Jamaica Inn, the aim of the shoot was to convey movement and creativity.
All of the photographs were taken and styled by the talented Natasha Hurley. Have a look at her photos, along with the rest of this shoot on her website.
